What standard on electrical equipment inspections means in practice
Inspection of electrical installations is governed by ČSN 33 1500 and ČSN 33 2000-6. An initial inspection is required before first commissioning, with periodic inspections at intervals depending on the environment: residential premises every 5 years, damp environments every 3 years, explosive atmospheres every 2 years, and temporary installations every 0.5 year. The inspection report is issued by a person authorised under §6 or §8.
